FMC Navigation
A goal FMC has had for a while now was to re-design our navigation menu. Previously dark blue, multi-tier and text heavy, it was not very user friendly.
I transformed it by inverting the color palette to reflect key subjects in our brand blue against a white background, with a subtle drop shadow over each main category and a blue chevron. The second tier contains a small blue accent bar and gray line when hovered over. The third tier of options was eliminated, and I filled the empty space with fitting imagery for each category.
These changes will dramatically improve user visibility and efficiency when searching for a certain topic.
